I dedicated this painting to myself; it represents the characteristics and emotions within me. However, the pink rectangle symbolizes my characteristics that come with it such as strength, stability, and dependability. The wavy hair of peafowl resembles my sensitivity, consciousness and emotions. The strokes are fine, not bold and it’s not thin in size; it shows my relaxation and focus on what am I doing. I really love creamy colored forest or fall season when the leaves are color orange, red, and even dark colored leaves. Peafowl or also known as “peacocks”, they are my favorites kinds of birds that comes in our nature. They rekindling regrowth, royalty, respect, honor, love, passion and integrity.
According to my research from sonomabirding.com, in Hinduism and Buddhism, these birds are considered to be sacred and worshipped alongside their deities. Furthermore, I used a lot of color green in this painting that encourages a balance in our brain and eyesight. Mixing the two primary colors such as blue and yellow it produces the color green and reflects the security and trust.
